Privacy Policy

1Operator information

We comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and guidelines, and handle the personal information we collect appropriately.

2Information we collect

2-1. Information you enter into a contact form

The Site has three contact forms, one per business unit. We always collect your name, email address, and message. In addition, each form may ask for the following (all optional).

The forms include a field used to detect automated submissions. It is not shown during normal use and does not need to be filled in.

2-2. Information collected automatically on submission

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the following alongside what you entered. These appear in the notification email we receive.

• The IP address used to submit
• Your browser and device information (user agent)
• The date and time of submission

We collect this to deal with abuse and bulk submissions, and to identify your environment when you report a problem.

2-3. Information held temporarily for rate limiting

To prevent repeated submissions in a short period, we count submissions keyed on the sending IP address. This record is erased automatically within one hour at most, and is never stored in association with the content you submitted.

2-4. Logs generated by serving the Site

The Site is served on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc., which records access logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, and similar). We review these only to the extent necessary to investigate faults and to respond to unauthorized access.

3Purposes of use

We use the information we collect only within the scope of the following purposes.

• Responding and replying to inquiries, consultations, and requests for estimates
• Performing the work and communicating with you where a contract is concluded
• Responding to reports of app defects and investigating their cause
• Processing registrations as a tester for the Android versions of our apps
• Dealing with abuse, bulk submissions, and unauthorized access
• Improving the Site and our services (understanding usage statistically)

We do not use it beyond the purposes above. We do not use it for advertising delivery, nor for any purpose outside the above without your consent.

4Cookies and analytics

The Site does not use cookies. There is no login function, no behavioral advertising, and no tracking of visitors across other companies' services.

We plan to introduce Cloudflare Web Analytics for access analytics. That service uses no cookies and collects no personally identifying information. What it records is statistical: page views, referrers, country or region, and browser type.

Once it is in place, we will revise this clause to state so definitively. Should we in future adopt analytics or advertising that uses cookies, we will revise this policy in advance and provide the means of obtaining consent that this requires.

5Third parties and outsourcing

Except as required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining your prior consent. We do not sell lists, nor share data jointly with others.

We do, however, entrust part of the handling to the following providers in order to operate the Site.

We exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the providers we entrust.

6Transfers to third parties abroad

The providers listed in clause 5 are all located in the United States of America. Your inquiry and the information in 2-2 may therefore be processed on servers in that country.

The personal information protection regime of the United States is not identical to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. We entrust handling only after reviewing each company's published privacy policy and data processing terms, and we continue to take the measures necessary to protect personal information.

If you do not consent to a transfer to that country, please consider contacting us by post instead (Yuya Shirayanagi (trade name: Veriquest), Dai-2 Mori Bldg. 401, 4-24-5 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi 450-0002, Japan). Correspondence received by post is processed within Japan.

7Retention periods

We will delete information on request before the period elapses (see clause 9).

8Security measures

• All traffic to the Site is encrypted (HTTPS)
• Access to inquiry content is limited to those who need it for the work
• Inquiry submissions are subject to automated-submission detection and rate limiting
• We verify the security arrangements of providers before entrusting work to them

9Requests for disclosure and other actions

Where you, or your agent, request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension or erasure of use, or suspension of provision to third parties in respect of retained personal data, we will verify your identity and respond without delay in accordance with the law.

Please direct requests to the contact point in clause 12. No fee is charged for making a request.

The same contact point also handles requests for the advertising disclosure items required for mail-order sales (those items under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions that are omitted on the Site); we will provide them without delay in writing or by email.

10Use by minors

If you are a minor, please obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before contacting us. The Site is not intended to provide services directed at children.

11Revisions to this policy

We may revise this policy following changes in the law or in how we handle information. When we do, we will publish the revised text and the date of last revision on this page. Where the change is significant, we will announce it on the Site.

We do not publish a telephone number. If you would prefer to speak by phone, let the contact point above know and we will respond without delay.
