Legal & Terms
The terms and policies covering the Veriquest website and apps. The app terms were originally published under the former name NullPo Works and have been updated to reflect the change of name.
These English texts are provided for convenience. Where one differs from its Japanese original, the Japanese text governs.
1Privacy policies
Because the data involved is fundamentally different in each case, there are four separate policies. A form on the website, a game carrying ads, a study app carrying none, and an order at the shop collect different information and rely on different providers.
2App terms of service
Each title differs in what it does, so each has its own terms.

| Charges other than the price | Bank transfer fees (paid by the customer). Internet connection and data charges are paid by the customer. AI agent implementation: visits outside the Nagoya area are charged at actual travel and accommodation cost. Music production: on-site recording outside Nagoya City is ¥15,000 (free within Nagoya City). |
| How to apply | Ask us for a quote through the enquiry form. The contract is made when you reply accepting our quote (scope, price and deadline). Sending the form is an enquiry, not an application. |

| Payment method and timing | System development, web production, music production, and AI agent setup and diagnosis: bank transfer. After you accept, half is paid by the date stated in the quote, before work starts, and the rest on delivery. AI implementation consultation and the first coaching session: bank transfer, against the invoice we send once the date is set, by the day before the session. Monthly services (ongoing coaching, business companion, AI companion): bank transfer, each month's fee by the end of the previous month. |

| Operating environment for software | If a system-development deliverable is software, the environment it needs to run (browser, OS and so on) is stated in the quote. |
| Liability where the work does not conform to the contract (fixes and defects) | System development, web production, music production, and AI agent setup and diagnosis: if, after delivery, you find that the work is not what the job specified, please tell us. Anything you report within 7 days of delivery we fix free of charge. After 7 days, your rights under the Civil Code and other laws are not affected. Other services: stated in writing when we quote or when you apply. |
| Cancellation and refunds | System development, web production, music production, and AI agent setup and diagnosis: to cancel, reply to the quote or use the enquiry form. Before work starts, we refund the full amount less the transfer fee. After work starts, we charge for the work done so far (worked out from the quoted amount in proportion to the work done, with a breakdown) and refund the rest. After delivery, returns and refunds are handled through the fix above, given the nature of the service; if a fix is not possible, we reduce the price or refund as the law requires. AI implementation consultation and the first coaching session: if you tell us by the day before, we refund the full amount less the transfer fee. Cancellations on the day or without notice are not refunded. One change of date is free up to the day before. Monthly services (ongoing coaching, business companion, AI companion): tell us before the next month's payment and the service stops from that month. |

| When the goods are shipped | Items are made to order. We normally ship about 7 business days after your order; at the latest, we ship within 10 business days of your order. If you order several items, they may arrive separately (the shipping fee does not change). |
| Cancellation, returns and exchanges | Because items are made to order, once an order is placed we cannot accept cancellation, returns or exchanges for the customer's convenience. |
| Limit on quantity | Up to 10 of any one item per order. |
| Liability where the goods do not conform to the contract | If an item is defective or differs from what you ordered, please contact us through the form at our contact point within 7 days of arrival and we will exchange it or refund you. We pay the return shipping. After 7 days, your rights under the Civil Code and other laws are not affected. |
