Piyo's Adventure is an exhilarating side-scrolling action game with simple controls: run, stomp on enemies, and blast them away. Dash through stages that shift from grassland to desert, snowy peaks, and a starlit night, and see how far you can get. Chain knockouts and keep a no-damage streak alive to send your score climbing, and every so often a distinctive boss blocks the road ahead.
Every seven rounds, the Depths await. Defeat the gatekeeper, the Dark Scarecrow, and a pipe rises up beneath your feet, taking you down a one-way path lined with lava, spikes, and spinning pillars of flame. At the very bottom waits the game's toughest enemy: the Dark Priestess. The Depths come in four layouts, and in the deepest of them — the Divide — a shelf of rock splits the route in two, and the path you pick never rejoins the other. There's also a dedicated Depths Mode that runs four of them back to back.
There's plenty to dig into. Pipes along the way lead to five kinds of bonus rooms, the shop sells healing and items, and anything you tuck into the Magic Pouch comes along on every run. The six costumes change not just your look but the way you fight, while an encyclopedia, achievements, badges, daily missions, and four online leaderboards keep the record of your adventures. And if something comes up, the Adventure Bookmark lets you stop mid-run and pick up right where you left off next time.

Ninja Piyo double jumps, Witch Piyo glides on the air, Samurai Piyo dives into a slash from above, and Cyber Piyo runs with a drone that picks off enemies on its own. Change how you look and the whole game runs differently.
The Adventure Bookmark, sold in the shop, lets you break off a run wherever you like. Next time, choose Continue on the title screen and pick up right where you stopped.
